Upgraded Wheels

The base LT will come standard with 17-inch all-season Blackwall tires. With a 255-tread width, you'll have more traction on slippery surfaces in Jersey City. You can upgrade your tire/wheel combination to a set of 22-inch black aluminum rims with 275 tread width on the Chevy Colorado Trial Boss. Halogen daytime running lamps and headlamps are standard, but LED fog lamps are available on higher trims.

New Tailgating Level Unlocked

The available first-in-class StowFlex Tailgate is a lockable hidden storage compartment located inside the tailgate. You can pack barbeque utensils, mesh chairs, emergency kits, and many other things inside the StowFlex. You'll also find a drain inside your hidden compartment. So, if you've got ice and a few drinks, then you've got a makeshift cooler ready to go. The standard 12V power outlet is available on the LT, but you can upgrade to a more powerful 120-volt box-mounted power outlet with a higher trim.

What's Good About the Performance?

There's Power Under the Hood

Each Chevy Colorado is powered by a 2.7L turbocharged engine with an 8-speed automatic. The power outputs for the trim levels vary. The WT and LT kick out 237 horsepower and 259 lb.-ft. of torque. The Z71 and Trail Boss model delivers more punch and head-jerking power with 301 horses and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. But the ZR2 has the trim-best 310 horsepower and heart-thumping 430 lb.-ft. of torque.

Towing Capacity

The base model Chevy Colorado can pull up to 3,500 lbs. But if you're looking for more towing power in Bloomfield, NJ, you'll want to opt for the Trail Boss or Z71 trim. Those two models can haul up to 7,700 lbs., giving the Chevy Colorado best-in-class towing.
